It is important that you address the centralissue according to the specific instructions. Each task is accompanied by oneof the following sets of instructions:
指令一：
Write a response in which you discuss theextent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for theposition you take. In developing and supporting your position, you shouldconsider ways in which the statement might ormight not hold true and explain how these considerations shapeyour position.
指令分析：
这条指令所对应的Issue Task一般是陈述型的statement。考生可以讨论同意或不同意的程度，并解释理由，也可以用让步的结构来进行两个方面的分析。但不管用哪种写法，在论述过程中，考生应当考虑有什么方法或在什么条件变化的情况下，可以让这个statement的对错性改变或者立场改变。
这条指令的关键点：
1、题目中的事实或观点是否在某些特定的条件下成立？如果是，我如何认为它们？
2、题目中的事实或观点成立的条件是什么？这些条件有没有漏洞？我如何评价它们？
3、我同意和不同意的程度，正反兼顾体现我的立场。
指令二：
Write a response in which you discuss theextent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position youtake. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances inwhich adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous andexplain how these examples shape your position.
指令分析：
这一条指令和第一条指令有些类似，主要区别在于，这条指令主要强调recommendation “建议”。大多数情况下，也是针对某种行为或者某种措施进行陈述。在讨论的过程中，要重点讨论specific circumstances，也就是特定环境对这个行为或措施的效果影响。例如，要具体分析在什么样的情况下这些recommendation可能无法达到预期效果。
这条指令的关键点：
1、题目中recommendation的可行性和有效性？这样做什么益处？
2、如果按照题目的recommendation操作，是否会导致和最初目标想互矛盾或漏洞百出的结果？
3、除了题目提到的recommendation，是否还有别的办法？
指令三：
Writea response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree withthe claim. Indeveloping and supporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/orexamples that could be used to challenge your position.
指令分析：
这条指令主要是针对一个claim，在论述中，考生一定要提出最有说服力的理由或者用来挑战自己观点的例子来进行论述分析，也就是考生要从自己观点的对立面来反证自己的观点。
这条指令的关键点：
1、题目中的claim基于什么标准？这些标准有哪些合理性？
2、和题目中的claim对立面的claim是什么？有哪些理由可以来支持对立面的claim？
3、对于题目中claim 的漏洞有哪些修正办法？
指令四：
Write a response in which you discuss whichview more closely aligns with your own position and explain your reasoning forthe position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you shouldaddress both of theviews presented.
指令分析：
这条指令针对的issue题目中肯定存在两个claim，这要求考生在讨论的时候，要指出题目中的哪个claim跟自己的claim比较接近，而且在写作中要对题目中的两种观点都有所回应，都要分析。
这条指令的关键点：
1、题目中两种claim的可行性？按照这两种claim实施分别有哪些好处？
2、按照题目中的claim实施会导致哪些不好的后果/风险/隐患？
3、有没有plan B可以代替题目中的claim？
指令五：
Write aresponse in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree withthe claim and the reasonon which that claim is based.
指令分析：
这条指令和其他指令相比，要开放得多，没有那么多的边界要求限制，考生可以自由发挥，但在自由发挥的同时仍然要注意自圆其说。
这条指令的关键点：
1、支持题目中claim的原因是否成立？
2、假设题目中原因成立，从原因出发，能否推出原题中的claim？
指令六：
Writea response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain yourreasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting yourposition, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explainhow these consequences shape your position.
指令分析：
这条指令是针对某个policy展开讨论的，要求考生在论述过程中，重点讨论实施这个policy可能带来哪些consequences ，也就是对policy的效果进行分析，从而推出policy本身是否可行。
这条指令的关键点：
1、题目中的policy有哪些可行性？按照这个policy实施也可以产生哪些益处？
2、题目中的policy是否会导致与目标相悖的矛盾？是否会带来别的风险或隐患？
3、针对题目中的policy，有没有其他更好的建议或办法？
