第一课时 Period One
一、Teaching contents
This is an important lesson in the book. From this lesson, it starts asking the Ss to grasp contents of each Sample. To attain "four skills" request of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To tell the Ss to remember the new words. To start asking the Ss to learn the English sentences well. Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.
二、Teaching aims
1、To study the new words "apples, oranges, bananas, peaches, grapes, watermelons, pears,these,those", etc. by learning this lesson.
2、To make the Ss know how to use the sentence "What are these?""What are those?" and "They are …".
三、Difficult points
1.Key points:
(1).To help the Ss to communicate with each other.
(2).To enable the Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.
(3).To develop the Ss’ interest in English.

(1) How to use the dialogues and act them out.
(2) How to write the right words and whole sentences.

Step 1. Warming-up:
1. Greetings.
2. Daily practice.
T: Point to the teacher, student, policeman, nurse, doctor, dentist, farmer, etc.
S: Teacher, student, policeman, nurse, doctor, dentist, farmer, etc.(do the action while speak out the word)

Step 2. Presentation:
T: Do you like doctors/nurses/ policemen/ farmers/…?
S: Yes, I do. ( No, I don’t.)
T: Do you like your English/ Chinese/ Maths teacher?
S: Yes, I do. (No, I don’t.)
T: Thank you. Miss Zhou likes apples. Do you like apples?
S: Yes, I do. (No, I don’t.)
T: What do you like?
S:I like pears/oranges/bananas/mangoes……

T: Oh, I see. Now, I’ll play a game with you. Who’d like to come to the front and have a try?

T: OK, boys and girls. What are these in the bag?
S: grapes.
T: Yes, you can also say: They’re grapes.

( Teach the other words in the same way.)
