英文简历要注意那些细节问题?英文语法和句式上的问题略过,那属于英文写作。
这里只说文字设计(typography),虽然高级的文字设计和内容从来密不可分。
简历是大多数人实践文字设计的最常见载体。
人人都希望简历给人留下好印象,因此或多或少会告诫自己「注意排版」。
以下十条是最基本的规则,若能做到,你的英文简历已经比 90% 的中国人(包括英文系学生)的规范美观了。
一、标点符号一律使用半角。
二、逗号、句号、分号、冒号、感叹号、问号和它们后面的字符之间必须留一个半角空格。

四、将长串数字分开写,降低辨识的难度。

五、书名、杂志名、电影名、音乐专辑名、英文中出现的外文(包括拼音,人名除外)用斜体。

六、对于电话区号应用不同的符号区分。
错误:+86-139-2739-6856

七、对于有序列表,应采用「阿拉伯数字 + 英文句点 + 半角空格」的方式。

八、括号弧线外要留空格,弧线内不要。

但同一个单词内的括号例外:

九、用弯引号,不要用直(的弯)引号。

十、正确使用各种短横:
em dash (—) 是破折号,en dash (–) 用来连接年份、时间,是「到」的意思,hyphen (-) 是连字符。

写完英文简历注意事项:
1. 若写作时用两个 hyphen (--) 代替破折号,Word 等文书处理软件会自动将其转为 em dash。有鉴于 em dash 输入不便(Mac 上是 shift + option + -),这也是英文写作通用的替代法。
