Here is a story by Emma, which teaches you how to use articles.

I saw a person yesterday.

The person was sitting under a tree.

The tree was very tall.

The person stood up when [he/she] saw a cat.

The cat jumped on a wall 

to try and catch a bird but the bird flew off the wall.

人、树、猫、鸟、墙，第一次出现时，都是用不定冠词。

以后再出现，则需要用定冠词。
