Since 2015, both the global situation and the China"s situation have been unprecedentedly complicated. ANBOUND’s chief researcher, Chen Gong is of the view that China is now facing the unprecedented soft encirclement in terms of economy and politics; the pressure is unprecedented and this has not been seen in the past few decades since the formation of China. The various problems faced by China have something to do with this. China is undergoing a complex systematic engineering of transformations and reforms and it should be over simplified. In face of the complex economic problems, China should have mid-long term plan and make systematic arrangements focusing on the target of steady economic growth.
