  三 .语法篇
  被动语态
  被动语态由"be + 及物动词的过去分词"构成。
  一、用法
  (一)不知道或没有必要或不想指出谁是动作的执行者时,用被动语态。
  our school was built in 1965.
  (二) 强调或突出动作的承受者时,用被动语态。

  (三)方法
  将主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语;将谓语动词变为 be + p.p (过去分词);如有必要,将主动语态的主语变为介词 by 的宾语。
  例如:1. people speak english in many countries in the world.

  english is spoken (by people) in many countries.
  ③ ② ①
  一般现在时态: am /is /are +pp
  一般过去时态: was/were +pp.
  一般将来时态: will be +pp
  含有情态动词; 情态动词+be +pp
  注意事项:
  1.主动结构的主语变为介词by的宾语,组成介词短语,放在被动结构中谓语动词之后,在动作的执行者无须说明或不必强调时,by短语可以省略。例如:
  mother took good care of the children.
  the children were taken good care of.
  2. 含有直接宾语和间接宾语的主动结构变为被动结构时,可以将其中一个宾语变为主语,另一个不动。一般是主动结构的间接宾语(人)变为被动结构的主语。例如:
  we gave him a book.
  he was given a book.
  如果直接宾语(物)变为主语,间接宾语前要加上介词to或for。能带双宾语的动词大部分加to, 如give, bring, tell等;也有的加for,如;buy, make, sing, draw等.例如:
  we gave him a book. a book was given to him.
  my mother bought me a new pair of trousers.
  a new pair of trousers was bought for me.
  3.含有复合宾语的主动结构变为被动结构时,必须是主要谓语动词的宾语变为主语,不要把充当宾语补足语的不定式中的宾语变为主语。例如:
  the teacher told us to read the text slowly.
  we were told to read the text slowly.
  如果名词充当宾语补足语时,也不要把这个名词变为被动结构的主语。例如:
  people call him uncle tom.
  he is called uncle tom.
  4.主动结构中宾语的定语,要随宾语变为被动结构,作主语的定语。主动结构的状语的位置一般不变。例如:
  she often told us stories about edison.
  stories about edison were often told to us.
  we use a recorder in our class.
  a recorder is used in our class.
  5.短语动词在主动结构中是一个不可分割的词组,在被动结构中也是如此,不可丢掉后面的介词或副词。例如:
  we turn on the street lights at 7:30 in the evening.
  the street lights are turned on at 7:30 in the evening.
  6.有些感官动词例如see, hear, watch等及使役动词如make, have, let后面的宾语,如接不定式作为其宾语补足语时,该不定式不能带to。结构如下:主语+感官动词(或使役动词)+宾语+不带to的不定式(作宾补),但当上列结构由主动语态变为被动语态时,不带to的不定式须换成带to的不定式。例如:
  we saw him cross the street. (主动,不带to)
  he was seen to cross the street. (被动,to)
  7.不及物动词及不及物动词词组均不能用被动语态,有些不能表示动作的状态动词,如have, fit等,通常不能用于被动语态。例如:
  they have a nice house. 不能说 a nice house is had by them.
  my shoes don’t fit me. 不能说 i am not fitted by my shoes.
